What Does this Stem Cell Therapy Involve?
The procedure starts with doctors extracting stem cells from a patient’s blood and “activating” them. The stem cells are then reintroduced to the patient via a nebulizer, which converts the stem cell solution into a fine mist, which is inhaled.
Once the stem cells have reached the lungs, they begin to regenerate lung cells and modulate immune system response. This reduces inflammation, making it easier for the patient to breathe, and prevents the COVID-19 from causing additional damage to healthy cells.
